Software Design Documentation · v1.1
Ekdotico
εκδοτικό · of publishing
A complete academic writing environment — collaborative editor, mind map, research workspace, source chat, auto-citation, and a provenance layer that signs every export. From first idea to final submission, in one tab.
The lifecycle
This site is structured around the four phases of the software engineering lifecycle. Each phase contains the artifacts produced before any code is written.
For whom this document is written
This documentation is the single source of truth for everyone working on or evaluating the Ekdotico project. It is written for three audiences simultaneously:
- Academic supervisors and instructors at Deree who need to understand the scope, methodology, and rigour of the project across the design phases.
- Investors and institutional partners who need a clear picture of the problem, the market, the technical approach, and the risk profile before committing resources.
- The implementation team — Claude Code agents working inside Cursor — who will treat the artifacts here as the contract they build against.
How to read this site
Each section is self-contained and can be read independently. If you are new to the project, start with Vision and pitch, then move through the phases in order. If you are reviewing a specific concern, jump directly to the relevant section using the sidebar. The search bar narrows the navigation by section title.
